The Almanack of Naval Ravikant is the first book I read this 2024.

Before it I was struggling to rekindle my love for reading, so I needed something that will be easy to read while still delivering the most value.

The Almanack of Naval Ravikant turned out to be one such book.

Who is Naval?

He has a very long resume.

Naval is an entrepreneur, investor, and a philosopher. Farnham Street calls him an angel philosopher.

He is the CEO and co-founder of AngelList, and has invested in more than 200 companies, including Twitter, Notion, Uber, OpenDNS, and many others.

Asides from his entrepreneurial side, Naval is also a deep thinker who is comfortable with challenging the status quo.

The Almanack of Naval Ravikant compiles Naval’s teaching on a wide range of topics, including:

  • How to build wealth
  • How to achieve long-term happiness
  • And the secret to a good life

The book contain diagrams whose deep meanings jump off the paper and hits the reader in a flash. I recreated some of these diagrams so I can share them with you.
