I anchored my very first online class on the 15th of May 2020; where I taught participants a simplified way to write a business plan which they can readily work with.

From gathering information, creating awareness, to actually getting to teach on the lesson day, the experience was entirely new to me and, as a result, I had what we as humans normally have when we take on new tasks —fear.

There was the fear of people not signing up, the fear that I have no value to give; I also feared I wasn't confident enough. But instead of backing down, I was able to take on the task, and the class turned out to be a huge success.

But it's not just me. Taking on a new task involves uncertainties, which we naturally shy away from as humans. The anxiety that accompanies new endeavors causes a lot of people to never challenge their comfort zones, denying them a chance to tap into their full potentials. If you've had such an experience, you're not alone.

I have something for you. I decided to put down helpful lessons I learned from putting together my own online class, to let you in on why you should persist despite fear and uncertainties.
