Remove the data from data science and the science part won’t work.

The same with data analysis and any of the numerous careers that feeds on data for solving real-world problems’

But data is not easily accessible, and if you’re new to data science or analysis and is looking for where to get data to build a portfolio to showcase your experience, this can be a challenge.

Luckily, there are many data repository available on the internet. These data repositories are available to everybody, and most of them are free. From business, health, science, to finance, here are 10 places to find data for your next project.

When I started my data science journey, I used Kaggle to get the first dataset I worked with. Kaggle is an online community of data scientists to share and test datasets, plus more. Launched in 2010, Kaggle hosts machine learning competitions with insane cash prices for winners. These competitions have gone ahead to provide solutions for the likes Ford and NASA.
