How Google’s AI Search Upgrades Will Impact SEO
Google’s search upgrades, revealed in the Google I/O Conference, brought good news for SEO and blog owners.
After ChatGPT launched last fall, there were uncertainties on whether or not it will mark the beginning of the end for Google and SEO.
Personally I felt that if the chatbot can give straight-to-the-point answers and save searchers the stress of having to browse through a list of website as we have with Google searches, then it’s only a matter of time until we will all be using more ChatGPT for our searches, and less Google.
If there are no traffic coming from Google, then there may be no incentive to keep publishing content. But Google’s new search update, while incorporating AI, still prioritized human content.
