If you want to know what’s next-level in smartphone technology, you only have to look at the iPhone Apple is launching next.

It began in 2007 with the first iPhone:

A handheld computer with an internet connection and no proper keyboard like what was attainable then; you couldn’t even replace the battery.

The idea was scuffed at.

The market was already dominated by established players like Nokia, a hardware-first company; so the iPhone’s software ethos seemed fanciful. The odds were against Apple, but a few years down the line iPhones reign and Nokias don’t.

From then on, Apple Events would become the epitome of innovation.

The whole world looked forward to them.

iPhone after iPhone, MacBook after MacBook, and Watch after Watche, Apple dazzled the world and told us what’s possible.

It has become their right.

Then came Apple’s latest event on Sept. 7th which saw the launch of the latest and greatest iPhone yet —the iPhone 15 series. What did the world get?

A too-sleek event and tiny upgrades on features we’re already used to.
