I am currently reading Stolen Focus by Johann Hari, and if there is one thing I am taking away from that book, it is that we don't need any more short text content, like Twitter content, and book summarisers like Blinklist and Shortform. Our attention span is already a mess, so rather than content that feeds our poor attention span, we need those that help improve it by. Reading book summaries and hoping to get the same result as reading the entire book, is the literary equivalence of eating fast food and hoping to get similar nutrient like you would from whole food.
