How To Make History Smile At You.

Had a walk with my elder brother four days after the eve of 2020, we reminisced on 2019 which he called a tough one. He related to me few of the many challenges he went through, even felt like crying as he recalled them .

Before my brother related to me his challenges, I've heard someone else jokingly beg for 2019 to be over, that it had come with challenges too numerous to mention, and because, yes, I've had my own dose of challenges I was going to put a period to the opinion that 2019 was one heck of a rough ride.

However;

I had to have a rethink when an uncle acknowledged 2019 to be the best year yet in his business career. What!? According to him he recorded this and that number of successes, which were better and bigger than past years.

To this end I was forced to see 2019 as just a year, with only our actions and/or inactions being the factors that made it turn out to be what it had been to us. And as simplistic as this may sound, this realization, when allowed to settle within become a secret with the potential to either make or break.

As 2019 marked the end of a decade, and the coming year —2020(which is already here) marks the beginning of a new one, prominent taught leader have since late 2019 been hammering on its significance. A lot of what happened in the past decade…
